On Friday December 3, 2021 we had a field trip instead of a December meeting.
We carpooled to Trace-The Zero Waste Store in Vienna. First we met as a group and asked the owner questions.
We brought our
empty containers for things like dish soap, rolled oats and nuts and we filled them.
We also bought interesting things like non-paper towel rolls, silicon baking mats,
shampoo and conditioner in hard bars (like soap bars), silk dental floss, fancy dish cloth sponges, and walnut scrubbers.
It was a lovely, clean, and welcoming place. Here is a video clip taken by Patti Kaiser while we were there.
